Version 2 is a major overhaul of ecromedos, featuring:
- a complete table model with subtables,
- possibility to use block elements in table cells,
- automatic generation of glossary and keyword indexes,
- a more robust syntax-highlighter,
- central stylesheets for XHTML and LaTeX formats,
- much cleaner layout and look of XHTML output,
- and many more improvements and bugfixes.
Users of version 1, please note that the new DTD is not backwards-compatible.
